Our commitment
Milestone Title is committed to providing this website in a way that is accessible to people with disabilities. We want every visitor — including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, or magnification — to read our guides, run the calculators, submit an order, reach our team, and get their closing documents.
Our engineering target for this website is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Because WCAG 2.2 is backward compatible, that work also meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA — the standard the U.S. Department of Justice adopted for state and local government websites. This describes our technical program; accessibility and legal obligations can vary by content, jurisdiction, and technology.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML with correct headings, landmarks, page titles, and per-page language — assistive technology first, ARIA only where a native element cannot do the job
- Full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator on every control, a skip-to-content link, and focus that is never hidden behind sticky bars
- Colour contrast pinned to AA in automated tests, on both the light and dark parts of the palette; meaning is never carried by colour alone; support for Windows High Contrast / forced colours
- Form fields with persistent programmatic labels, help text, and error messages that are announced; a slideshow you can pause; motion that honours your reduced-motion preference
- Accessible (tagged PDF/UA) estimate and wire-fraud documents, with the same information available as an on-screen page
- Automated accessibility checks (axe-core, every WCAG 2.x rule) on each change and nightly, plus keyboard and accessibility-tree tests, and manual keyboard and named-assistive-technology testing
What our most recent evaluation covered
- Site and scope: milestonetitlefl.com — the public site, the client and realtor portal, the four localized sections (Español, Русский, עברית, Français), and the generated estimate and wire-fraud PDFs
- Standard and level: WCAG 2.2 Level AA (which also meets WCAG 2.1 AA)
- Last technical evaluation: August 17, 2026, against a representative, task-based sample of every page template and critical journey
- Methods: automated testing (axe-core, all WCAG 2.x rules), keyboard-only testing, visual-adaptation testing (200% and 400% zoom / 320-pixel reflow, text-spacing overrides, forced colours, reduced motion), accessibility-tree review, and tagged-PDF structure validation
- Browsers and assistive technology confirmed by us: current Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari with keyboard-only operation
- Not yet independently verified with these tools: NVDA and Narrator on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, TalkBack on Android, and Dragon speech input — we do not claim results we have not recorded
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some areas may not yet provide an equally effective experience:
- Site search is provided by a third-party component (Pagefind); if it is difficult to use, the site's navigation and our team reach the same information
- Screen-reader testing with NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack and Dragon is scheduled but not yet completed; if you use one of these and hit a barrier, please tell us and we will prioritise it
- Some older browser or assistive-technology combinations may not provide the same experience
Need help or want to report a barrier?
If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, or you need information in another format, contact us and we will provide it another way while we investigate — by phone, email, in person at our Hallandale Beach office, or in Spanish, Russian, Hebrew, or French. You can also use the report form below. Email accessibility@milestonetitlefl.com, or call 954.454.4522 (Florida Relay 711). We aim to acknowledge within two business days. You never need to disclose a diagnosis.
