Verify a Milestone Title communication — sixty seconds, zero risk
Attackers imitate title companies with perfect logos, real deal details, and helpful tones. The defense is simpler than spotting fakes: verify by voice, at a number you found here — never in the message itself. This page is the checkpoint.
The standing rules
Four rules that never change — storm, weekend, or 'urgent' email
These are the exact rules from our official Wire Fraud Warning. They are absolute; anything that contradicts them is an attack.
We deliver wiring instructions through secure channels and confirm them verbally.
Our wiring instructions DO NOT CHANGE during a transaction. Any message saying otherwise is an attack.
We never accept or act on instruction changes received by email or text alone.
We verify disbursement instructions by callback to independently confirmed numbers.
The never list
If a message does any of these, it isn’t us
We will NEVER email you a change to wire instructions — our instructions do not change during a transaction.
We will NEVER accept or act on instruction changes received by email or text alone.
We will NEVER send wire instructions, changes to wire instructions, or requests for account credentials by text message.
We will NEVER pressure you to move money 'in the next hour' — urgency is attacker language, not ours.
Wire instructions on Milestone files are delivered through the secure client portal and verified by callback — never as casual email attachments. When in doubt about anything money-related, the answer is always the same: call 954.454.4522 before acting.
Questions
Verification, answered plainly
How do I verify that a message really came from Milestone Title?
Call us at 954.454.4522 (Broward) or 305.682.2324 (Miami-Dade) — numbers you obtained from this website or your title commitment, never from the message you're verifying — and confirm it by voice. Sixty seconds on the phone beats any amount of inspecting an email, because attackers copy logos and signatures perfectly; they can't answer our phones.
The message says wiring instructions changed. What do I do?
Treat it as an attack: our wiring instructions do not change during a transaction, and any message saying otherwise is fraudulent until proven live on the phone. Do not reply, do not click, do not wire — call us first at the number on this site.
I already sent money based on a message I now doubt.
Act in minutes, not days: call your bank's fraud department and request a wire recall and account freeze, call us, then file at the FBI's IC3 (ic3.gov). The first hours decide recovery odds — our Fraud Emergency page walks the whole first hour, step by step.
One call settles it.
